"There were three things I liked about Runaway....

2. Kanye name dropping Kubrick after the premiere...(although hype and kanye are nowhere near as obsessive....not possible, dream big tho)

If I hate elton john....its likely Im not gonna call his music art...

as well as the art itself....because you cant be purely objective or purely subjective....you gotta blend passion and reason and structure
I wish rap had more artists....eh...what i mean is, i wish there was more expression, less trend....there are like 5 creative rappers, 3 r trash
I dont want rap to turn into an art gallery...but it'd make for a nice balance....cant have 50 wizs, 50 drakes, and 50 buddens not without me jumping off a bridge.
what I mean by subjective and objective is...stickin with Kanye....subjectively, to me that is, 808s n Heartbreak was trash...lol..autotune...trash...but objectively...it was one of the most experimental rap based albums of the century, if not ever....pretty easy to classify as art
Heatsy Note: I did like a song on 808s...say you will is one of my favoite ye tracks ever....pure. Drake was garbage on it. Stop comparing.

^^exactly.....I used to be a rap purist, so I know how yall feel bout this artsy bullshit lol...but they dont cancel each other out...the "rap" artists..right now...nonexistant basically...and the hiphop rappers....dont really say much...so....why blame one or the other?

It's hard not to feel a track thats just a dude crooning in a horrible voice to a beat thats just a heartbeat...thats pain.
